When American-born Jessica Chrastil arrived in Oaxaca 8 years ago, she was following her heart. Since then she created the art space La Senora and Pocoapoco, a multi-disciplinary residency in Oaxaca. Both communities are part of the rising of Mexico in the art world, contributing to the preservation of  craft in Oaxaca and the importance of honesty in self expression.
